About Me

Hi, I'm Spencer Woody. I am a second year PhD student in statistics at the University of Texas at Austin. My research interests are in Bayesian nonparametrics, bioinformatics, tumor biology, and spatial modeling. I also serve as a research assistant in the lab of Dr. Livia Eberlin in the Department of Chemistry, where we use metabolomic mass spectrometry data for cancer detection in applications such as surgical margin assessment and fine needle aspirations of the thyroid. I graduated from Duke University in 2015 with a dual BS degree in economics and statistical science.

See below for a link to my main Github repositories. I also plan on using this site to link to some R Markdown demonstrations for projects I have completed in the past or am currently working on.
